Thanks for your comments esmeraldgrubb.

I apologise for having an attitude and I don't mean to have a go at you. I respect your opinion and feel I can now more understand where you're coming from. I can appreciate people who have eating disorders or are recovering from ones do not view Hana favourabaly. I suppose we could argue whether she actually is consciously and physically starving herself or not to get how she is; some people think she is others don't..I mean her healthy face and hair contradict her body.
Like I've said, I know she is thin, and there are pics of her I've seen and shows she has done where I have winced at just how thin she is, but I still like her immensely as a model and feel she will change as time goes on. I think she is quite possibly the most beautiful model around at the moment, very photogenic and her walk on the runway is fabulous. I do concede that if she were to put on a few more pounds she would be even greater.
I understand that the voices of dissent on here are of those who do not understand why people find her attractive and they think her fans are championing what they perceive as an eating disorder when in reality they think we should be rejecting it. I would say that I personally do not think Hana is as high up the ladder as othe rmodels, in fact I find it damn near impossible finding the same amount of editorials, campaigns that I seem to come across for other models. Sure she got the Vogue cover, but generally speaking I don't think she's as big as Daria, Julia, Natasha etc
I think a lot of people who praise Hana either really do like her genuinely or get fed up of people patronising them and telling them that it's somehow morally wrong to be a fan of hers and this in turn makes people think 'well who do you all think you are, I'll be a fan of whoever I like' As I have said there are many models who I think are not attractive/appealing for a variety of reasons and I may express every now and again my dilike but for the most part I keep my comments to myself and certainly do not insinuate myself into threads where people like that model just to make negative comments. If I don't care for something I generally won't make a comment unless someone's asking me for an opinion.
I still do truly believe that give it time and Hana will blossom more and put on the weight she needs. But in the meantime I won't reject her. If people do not like her and find it wrong or strange that people do, then I think it's a problem for them. I don't mean to be rude when I say that, but that's how I feel.
I still maintain that if you don't like someone and that their success is offensive to you then it still makes no sense why you take an interest in them. What would make more sense is if people created another thread entitled 'anti-Hana' where they could discuss exactly how they feel about her, call her overrated, unhealthy etc etc. I just find constant negativity really frustrating in the same way some people on here find the fact Hana has people who like her frustrating.
By all means criticise the girl, but your run the risk of actually allowing yourself to seriously hate Hana and the fact she has become successful. Surely we don't want it to come to that. Or not even that, i don't want to fall out with people on here, because I enjoy these forums. We're all different people with different viewpoints, so it's best we agree to disagree.
But what I will say is that at least we're all communicating. Personally, I don't want this forum to be an endless worshipping shrine to Hana - for I'm not into worshipping celebrities/models - and am happy to get involved in discussions, but as mentioned Hana's weight is such a contentious subject for people and usually people resort to just being plain nasty about the girl. I don't know how many times we can go round in a circle about it.
(ok I win for the longest rant

)
(But esmeraldgrubb - I have no beef with you my dear and I respect your opinions immensely. I wouldn't want you to praise Hana endlessly in order to 'fit' in here or anything, and I think you can be balanced, so I apologise for going on and on...

)
