Aiga -- I agree with positano that the spy is the best bag of the ones you posted, but not good for carrying books or anything heavy.

I think the YSL oversize muse is the perfect bag for school, I know thats how UNiQ has been using hers. It can fit a ton, fits on the shoulder, and is very durable buffulo leather.

whoaa..just from the pics of the celebs carrying the muse, it looks humongous..definitely not my style..sorry guys .. why is it so hard to find the perfect bag? maybe im just too picky..

now im thinking of the chanel cerf tote.. do you guys think that'll be a good school/everyday bag?

Work Bag.

I'm graduating this year and am already getting excited about the prospect of a whole new working wardrobe! I need a new work bag for the job i'm in right now, so I was thinking about splashing out and getting a great one that will carry over into my graduate jobs. I need to carry files right now, and who knows what else when i start my new job!
I'm considering a fendi spy
a paddington shopping bag. (Big tote)

It's structured and a great size for carrying files in

As I mentioned in the spy thread, as gorgeous as it is, I dont think a spy would work for files. I personally dont really like the paddington in the shopping style. A muse would be great though, and so would a balenciaga. Cerf is a good idea too as P.Imp mentioned

I just bought the Paddington shopping tote and posted pics on the Paddington thread I LOVE the bag for work, day to day use or even as a carry on personal item for the plane

I also have the Chanel Cerf tote and that bag is perfect for work too

The fendi spy not so much, its more of a going out shopping bag and it doesnt have compartments and such for pens and the space for files or such...

IF anybody out there spots a "pastel yellow" slouchy hobo/handbag please let me know. I've been on the hunt now forever and have yet to find one. Would love to find a "stud-less" one but buckles are good!

I like the idea of a balenciaga very much, what is the bigger style called? for some reason I'm not crazy about the muse. As a general rule I like unstructured bags.

the largest one is the weekender- it's gigantic. the work and courrier is the next size up. i'm not sure which is larger of the two. but the work is shaped like the city and the handles will only fit on the shoulder if you have thin arms. the courrier is more like boho style, but fits on the shoulder perfectly. the day, which is like that too, but smaller than the courrier... any of these styles would be good for you, since they are very slouchy. the leather is light weight and durable.

Oh yeah - I'm loving these bags too. Has anyone seen them IRL - I am wondering about the softness/quality of the leather. I'm with you Mammab - would LOVE a pale yellow bag. I have the new Chanel drawstring but it is a deeper yellow color - still love it though.
