I need a recommendation for a bag that I will wear for a long time. Something that is timeless. I finished school recently and started working and I wanted to buy myself a nice bag that I will keep for a long time and that I will remeber as being the bag " that i bought myself for finishing school and starting working".Any thoughts? (and a birkin or any other 10 000$ bag is out of the question lol)

any classic black Chanel bag- various styles ranging from $1600 to $2300

Anything without logos all over, studs, grommets, lots of zippers, tons of jangly stuff, etc will be timeless; in other words simple. I think you can't go wrong with clean, simple styles in a classic color by designers like LV, Ferragamo or Chanel.

i'd get a speedy 30 by LV. the size is wonderful, it will last forever and the style is totally chic and timeless!

Hello! I am thinking of getting a new bag for everyday. I have a bunch of tote bags, so I would love to get a big casual shoulder bag. I dress very casually, (mainly) skinny jeans, ballet flats and tops, and I'm 5'6", so I guess that I cannot wear very elegant, classy bags well, as well as very fashionable bags with logos. Any suggestions? I have Mulberry Roxanne, but I somehow do not love it because it's quite uncomfortable to carry around (too heavy) and I cannot wear it on shoulder. Thinking of LV epi noe (the one with string) or one of the chanel bags, but would love to ask you experts before. Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

Hello! I'm on the hunt for a big'ish bag. Preferably hand held, but it would be great if it also could be carried on the shoulder. It needs to hold quite a bit because it would also be used for travelling. Size-wise I'm thinking nothing larger than the YSL Muse in XL. I also want a bag that's somewhat structured.
So far I'm thinking Stam -but am a little hesitant about the weight and Muse in XL or L, but I'm not sure if the Muse is too slouchy.
Colour: Anything but black.

Any suggestions?

i just purchased a XL choc muse (coz i didn't want black too but i also didn't want it to be dirty which i'm planning to use for travelling. it's not slouchy when u carry it and not as slouchy like a paddy bag. i imagine the stam is much slouchier (is that a word?) n smaller than the muse

I found out that LV epi noe is only available in black (at least at my local boutique), so I decided not to go for noe... & it somehow didn't look good on me...

I am in Love with the new L.A.M.B. bags!
I just got the Black Verona and I am freaking out over it!!
It's luxurious but at the same time I can use it for everyday and it just sharpens up any outfit!!!!!!!!!!!

it's big enough to go over the shoulder and it has just enough glam rock n roll edge. it's cool and chic at the same time. I was totally freaked out on the price before I got it, but the leather and construction quality is just as amazing as my LV epi (but the leather on this is smooth)

passerby - I pondered over it for a while and finally ordered the MarketaNewYork stripey black/pink/green/white tote. So excited! It's the perfect tote for spring, too.

Oh! And I am totally in love with this tote-purse. So cutesy but so me. Must...not...spend...more...money...blew...budget...on...Lanvin...shoes...(yeah, I know $30 is a BARGAIN in comparison, but still, it all adds up).

Maybe I'll see if it goes on sale eventually.
