Handbag Recommendations

Ok ladies I need help.

I'm looking for a metallic bag.

Metallic is my only criteria. Under 2K if at all possible. I like silver and bronze better than gold so those colors are more what I'm into.
How about Kooba? They have lots of styles in metallics and are rather affordable. The Carly and Elisha are my favourite styles.

Or how about a bronze Botkier Bianca? And I think Gerard Darel make some metallic styles as well?

looks like a fun bag and not too expensive ^_^

the color is bright and will translate well from season to season i think :flower:

I'm looking for a tote-like//shoulder bag that would be good for putting a laptop (so around 17 inches wide) in and a few notebooks-- plus any additional things that you'd put in a bag.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the picture posted below (which is obviously a fake), but I'm not sure!

Thanks!!

I bought this clutch from Browns online, but unfortunately they just called and said they don't have it anymore. I'm devastated. I planned to carry it at my wedding!

I am wondering if you ladies have any suggestions for an alternative... Hopefully less than $1000

The colors could be hot pink or turquoise blue.
Needless to say, my wedding is going to be non-traditional.

I sooooooo appreciate any help you can give me. :flower:

well I'm not sure -looks like fake - but it could be from the 70-is? Haven't seen this style in the shops.

the first one is also strange - the logo looks gold and the chains are silver? bUT You can ask in Chanel is they have something blue?

My first tFs post!

So I'm planning on getting a new designer handbag -- with the help of my parent's money of course, haha. So I was thinking a Marc by Marc Jacobs one since I love his style and its price point is reasonable. By reasonable, I mean that I feel bad milking my folks in funding my purchases and days out even though I work part-time at Abercrombie.

Anyway, so here are my options.

- a bigger Dr. Q. Groovee Satchel
Cream: http://www.barneys.com/b/browse/pro...dex=true&perPageElements=10&categoryId=463563
Black: http://www.shopbop.com/groovee-tote...4302024262&fm=browse-brand-viewall-shopbysize
Saddle: http://www.shopbop.com/groovee-tote...4302024262&fm=browse-brand-viewall-shopbysize

- or a smaller Dr. Q. Groovee Convertible Clutch
Cream: http://www.shopbop.com/convertible-...4302024262&fm=browse-brand-viewall-shopbysize
Black: http://www.shopbop.com/convertible-...4302024262&fm=browse-brand-viewall-shopbysize

So your opinions as to which bag (and color) or any other suggestions as to a classic handbag I should buy are greatly appreciated!

Welcome Stacey! I would recommend the bigger one. It's more classic. The plaque on the smaller is a bit of a turn off for me. Personally, I love the cream one, but it could be harder to keep clean. The black one is classic and versatile. As for the saddle, it could be a great neutral, but I can't seem to get myself to like browns. I don't know why, but that's me. Let us know what you choose! :flower:
