dooney and bourke does indeed manufacture it's bags in china. in fact the main guy who takes all the orders and such is married to a chinese woman who is head of their chinese factory....

all their leathers are manufactured over in italian tanneries outside of florence. the exact same place manufactures and tans coachs leather as well.....it's very interesting since they are competator companies...

but yes indeed they are sewn and glued together over in china.

Long strap bags

Hi,

I really love fashion and adore beatiful bags but I use a wheelchair and I hate having to but handbags in my lap while I use both hands to push myself because I am always afraid the bag will get stolen.(I like to use a manual wheelchair insead of an electric-I get excersize that way)somtimes I walk with canes for a short period so I can't carry a purse in my hand I can't carry most shoulder bags when I am walking because I can't help leaning forward and the bag falls off so......I need bags with long staps that go aross the body but I canit find many nice, attactive bags with this feature. Plus, my bags need to be pretty small 1.because I can not carry a heavy bag. 2. the bag is basically sitting in my lap when I'm in my chair. 3. I don't carry alot anyway. The LV sac tambourin is a bag that I own. I've been able to use it quite a bit. It's size is about the largest I can use comfortably. Can anyone suggest other bags I should try? BTW money is no object. Thanks in advance (please excuse my spelling)

hey guys! pretty new here, and impresses by everything you guys know!! Im thinking about buying a "designer" bag, but there is so much to choose from!! Im young, only 17 and I like big, leather, relaxed but cool bags... Im thinking about spending around 500-600$. Hi vanilla, I think that bag is $2000+ . I don't remember the exact figure but it was low $2000. I was at Chanel the other day and they had this really beautiful red colour.. don't know if you like red though.

I just realized the other day that I don't own a white bag (that I know of), and what better excuse is there to get a new bag?
Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice white or cream bag? I haven't decided on a size, since I really don't know when I'd carry it (I only realized I don't have one when my mother asked if I had one she could borrow. I'd just like to be able to say "sure!" the next time )

There's tons of great white bags to choose from. You could go for the gorgeous white muse. Looks like Neiman's still has some. I picked up the Celine Clandy in cream which I think is absolutely perfect. I've been wearing it around and I love love love it. For more casual I would go for a Mulberry bag in ivory.

Dilemma! Which should I go for...Chocolate Muse or a Chocolate Mulberry Bayswater? They're like night and day but I'm drawn to both. I definitely would like a Bayswater but I was thinking I would get it in black but now I've seen a pic of the dark brown and I'm torn.
