Handbag Recommendations

I'm looking for a travel tote. I'd love the oversize muse in patent but I already have a med black leather. I also like the chloe paddington tote but have a med paddington. I like the Balenciaga weekender but have a Bal. So I'm looking for something in a tote from a brand I don't already have. But those are some of the styles I like.

Any good travel tote suggestions?

How about the Goyard Croisere? With Zip, good sizes and can personalize.

If you prefer plain leather bag but without a zip, the Fendi Spy is a light and roomy bag.

Or the new LV Suhali Lockit, which has a zip, is roomy, not too heavy since it has less studs than the previous designs and is made of goatskin leather.
;-)

What do you think.... Can a man use Chanel bags.. If so which Chanel bags would suit a man best..? I mean I dress kind of different so I think I could pull of a Chanel bag... But which one would be the best??

so i just got some extra cash in my hand and am looking to treat myself to a fall/winter bag. i would really love a nice red leather satchel or tote and my budget it btw $200-500. any suggestions? i saw one in the september issue of lucky mag but can't remember what the brand was...anyway, i'd love some suggestions from you fabulous fashionistas.

Hi ispy, how about this Francesco Biasia white Country Dancing Tote? What style of bag do you prefer - structured or slouchy?

Do you remember what article it was in? I can look it up for you

hey luna! thanx so much for the offer - i just dug up a copy and was able to find it! i was wrong - it was in the august issue of lucky - its on page 171 and this place sells it though they do not have the red one... from gSlillian. what do you think?

p.s. slightly out of price range but me thinks the investment worth it....haha.

I'm about to buy my first "deisgner" bag and I need some suggestions. My price range is $200-$700 and I'd like something classic that I could carry for years to come.

I am also looking for a new purse, much like the above. This isn't my first designer but I am not LOVING anything right now. I have been checking out the Cole Haan G Series as well as the Isobella Fiora and I like those. I want for everyday and out use. I want it to fit my wallet, keys, purse, lipstick and phone. Suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated :)

^ I'd suggest a Mulberry Bayswater. I have two, the chocolate in congo leather, and the Darwin & oak with python embellishments which was a little too pricey but I fell in love with it. I find that with these bags, I know I can see myself carrying them in years to come, they're not so much a 'trend' bag, if that makes sense. I just find it to be a clean and classic bag and it goes with most things.

Which bag do you prefer:

edit: uncredited images.

I'm 5' 2", size 4-5, average build. This will be my first designer bag.

I'm also considering MJ's Blake.

I am dying to get a black patent leather bag. Should I get the XL YSL Muse, Mulberry Bayswater in glace or a JC Ramona? I already have a chocolate muse but I do sooo love the style.

To Mjfan:

Hello! I just want to say I considered to buy one of those three bags also! What a coinceidence! I own some marc jacobs bags and they are all quite heavy, so I suggest you go to the store and try Blake on. I haven't checked out those miu miu bags in person (got sidetracked and bought an LV instead), but I really like the suede interior of the Blakes, it is just so luxurious. However, I am not sure if the new blakes still have suede interior... Anyhow, I think the Blake is a pretty good size for your height and build. It is quite roomy and has lots of compartments. Good luck!

To mcross:
I love the YSL muse! It is very, very elegant. I saw some gorgeous Valentino black patent handbags recently.

Hey all!!! This is my first post and I was hoping someone could help me out with a decision I am trying to make. I am about to buy either a Luella or LV. I have a few LVs already and want to try something a little "funkier". However, I keep going back and forth between the Damier Papillon 26 and this Luella (pic from ebay). What do you all think?? (I am a little leary of buying from Ebay but the seller is a my poupette member so I feel a bit better about it.) Any advice??
