I am looking for a bag that is neutral, can be used day or night and matches good with silver jewelry: i am thinking of buying the fendi b bag or the blue spy (i love the combination black/blue). what do you think? other suggestions maybe (i notice that most bags have gold hardware...

the fendi spies are mostly with gold hardware but it isn't really very goldy so it should not clash with your silver accessories. unless you are very very particular. i tend to not wear my silver stuff when i carry my dark brown spy. i still love it to bits though i find it transitions well into night well enough. i love it when i travel, i can bring lots of stuff and the actual bag is very light.

From the description you gave, I can think of a few other choices immediately : Bal work with gold GH, chanel cerf, chanel 2.55 with gold h/w, Gucci horsebit hobo, Chloe bay.......

But the MJ stam that you have posted up there is a mighty fine choice too!

Yes,I need a black day bag with gold detailing,because i tend to match my accessories with my jewelries ,so i can wear the bag with gold jewelries,i've alredy have a medium patent leather 2.55 with gold chain and a balenciaga giant clutch,but i tend to use them only with a dressier outfit,i need a casual big bag with gold detailing........

Hi there, do you have any preference as in color, designer, style, price? If you are saying timeless classic I will definitely say Louis Vuitton or Chanel. But if you are looking for classic and durable, I might choose Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta. Or if u want some "IT" bags, Chloe, YSL, Jimmy Choos have nice collections too. well the price can't be too high that's for sure. I know I can't really get anything 'classic' for under £500 really so it doesn't have to be timeless - I really like some of the marc jacobs stuff around at the moment and really like anna corinna's bags. Colour is not too important but brown or black preferably! I really like hobos, in particular the blakc balenciaga hobo i've seen on kate moss recently. mmm love it. but i'm very open minded so any options would be very much appreciated, thank you so much! x

i would definitely recommand the balenciage, for Marc Jacob.. that's a younger look if you like it, but their totes/sachels are better than their Hobo style bags. Another you may think about is the classic Gucci Hobo~~~ but I don't know how you feel about logos. ^^ well.. good luck searching your New bag! and Happy Birthday

Ever since it hit the market I've had a passionate love for the balenciaga motorcyle bag Though it had never occured to me before now, that I got a job, that I could acutally buy it (beeing a poor student and all).
I've never actually been to a designer store before, as it has been to painful to enter knowing I'm to poor to even consider buying anything, but now I've decided to make my first designer purchase!
My choice has fallen om the motocyle bag, and I was wondering if it's a bag you guys would recommend! 'Cause I've only seen it in pictures, never in real life!
Does the balenciaga stores still sell it, or is internet my only hope?

I'm talking about this model and size, not sure about wich color yet though... Maybe teal or black.. any suggestions or recommendations?

Does any one know a good bag or bags to take on the plane? Read: CARRY ON ONLY. With all of this luggage stealing I have trunks but I can not use them. I have many bags but they are not practical for a plane (I can not fit all of the clothes, shoes, etc that I need). Can some one help? Price does not matter.

HI, I would definitely recommand the balenciaga!!! It has many different size, colors and style to choose from... and compare to a lot of designer bags nowadays, they are extremely light-weight... My balenciaga is grey color.. and I recommand a neutral color like black, white, grey, navy, brown... if that will be your first designer bag... that way it will be easy to match your outfits and you can carry them more often

As I'm living in a city that doesn't have Balenciaga stores nearby, I go to Neiman Marcus or Barneys for these bags... they have a quite large collection and the return policy is "easier", just in case you need to exchange color, size or if you change your mind, you still have a big selection to choose from. B)

Help! Looking for the perfect blue bag...

Ok, so I've been searching and searching for a handbag in the perfect shade of blue for almost a year now with no satisfying results and it's become an obsession. I have realized it's time to turn to the experts for some help

Anyone who can point me in the direction of a good quality leather bag (shoulder, tote, hobo or satchel styles) under $600, in an electric/cobalt blue like the one attached will be my hero forever.
