Sorry, ladies. Derek Jeter, 41, seems to be off the market, as a new report claims the Yankees legend will tie the knot with his supermodel girlfriend, Hannah Davis, 25, in the near future. And he has already given her a ring! This is so exciting.
“She already has the ring,” a source told the New York Daily News. “The family is very happy because they really like him.” Derek and Hannah have been dating since 2012, and while they kept most of their relationship private, they’ve become increasingly public about their romance since Hannah was spotted cheering Derek on at Chicago’s Wrigley Field in May 2014. And they later went public with their relationship when they walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in May of this year.
Derek left Major League Baseball after a 20-season career on Sept. 28, 2014, so he definitely has time to focus on a wedding and starting a family with Hannah. Derek even told NBC, according to NY Daily News, that he’s looking forward to it. “I want to have a family,” he said. “Who knows when it’s gonna’ be? But I look forward to it.”
