It looks like a cover from the 70's, the amount of pink is awful, the pose is like a red-carpet pose and not a fashion one and yeah, nothing works excepts for for the coverlines' placement I may say.
no disrespect to brazil in any way, shape or form- but it seems that there market- fashion, publication, etc. is okay with things being a lil cheap or campy in some ways. there covers, styling or fashion design aesthetic is always slightly tacky to me. but maybe that's just what sells out there.
The cover lines are so funny, I guess *ana* would agree with me I don't like how cheap it looks. The layout is quite great, though. I think the brazilian edition has the best text placement.
This looks as cheap as can be (and I do love myself some tack most of the time). The dresses look as though they're from an inexpensive, struggling clothing company.. not Gucci. The shot with Alessandra wearing the white Gucci dress is far more superior than the fuschia pink one, though.
Cover Story: Ambrósio Por Terry Photographer: Terry Richardson Model: Alessandra Ambrosio Styling: Almundena Guerra Hair: Dennis Lanni Make-Up: Frank B.
