I'll always remember reading an interview with Carine Roitfeld, where she mentioned that green is considered to be one of the worst colours to use on a cover. She said it's terrible to sell and fails to attracts readers.. for some reason. Now, whenever I see a cover with green fonts, I just assume it won't sell.

Yeah, I read that too, not from Roitfeld but from some marketing survey or something like that but I hate cliches like "red and pink always sell" - ok, but doing red and pink covers every month? I am bored to death! thats why I LOVE when there are green, yellow or orange covers, everytime it is a kind of fresh air to the magazines. I also love natural backgorunds and flowers on the covers
