Thanks for starting the thread and for all the beautiful photos!
I wanted to start one on her but was too lazy..
Her etherial aesthetic resonates with me.

She also does illustrated, hand-written fantasy stories which are quite charming.

Her jewelry is beautiful but often a little overpriced for what it is...Chinoiserie cording and beads, sometimes semi-precious gems, pearls, coral and antique parts.

Yeah, I know. They're a bit delicate and crafty to merit US$1500. That's how much a necklace costs, right? It took me a while to give her credit, since much of it looks like jewelry you can find in Middle Eastern bazaars. In fact, I bought a necklace in Damascus that looks similar to one of her necklaces (made by a teenage Damascene boy!).:p

Do all her pieces revolve around the Chinese frog-button motif?

Also, didn't she work for Galliano? And she was a model before?

Yes, necklaces do cost that much. Not all her pieces revolve around the Chinese motif, some are purely semi-precious or antique beads. I don't know much about her past work except that she got her business started through selling her work among socialite friends.
She has a tiny store here, in Roppongi Hills.
I wouldn't buy her pieces because of the prices, but she gives me inspiration to make my own :p. That's amazing that you've been to Damascus:heart:

Melisande, I'm jealous that you are in Japan. If you ever get the chance to travel in the Middle East, Damascus is a must-stop.^_^

I've noticed a lot of people have downloaded the last set of necklace photos. Apparently, she is inspiring other people too!:flower: Are you a jewelry designer?

I've been following her creative work for some time now and she's quite gifted. She's never been a model as far as I know. It's too bad I have several articles about her but I can't scan them.

Aha! I've seen her many many times before in W magazine, but couldn't figure out who she was. Thanks for posting!

I'm not overly impressed with her jewelry itself, but I like her aesthetic as well.

I love her taste. She used to have a shop in Tokyo and I bought one of her collection which I still love so much.
She published the book last year in Japan about museums in Paris. I don't know she still makes her line. She did some work for Boucheron I think.
