Has Anyone Tried Brilliant Brunette Hair Products?

i use their shampoo....
volumizing for chestnut to espresso...
it smells divine...!!!

but i have to say i'm thinking of switching...
my colour looks great.... but i find that after i shampoo and before i condition (i dont use brilliant brunette conditioners) my hair is very stringy and dry.... feels like the shampoo is completely stripping my hair of its natural oils so i have to use a rich conditioner to replace some of the moisture...

does anyone else find this?...
i'm not sure if its because of the 'volumizing' ingredients....
but it makes my hair feel very dry and knotty before i condition...:ermm:

Yes I noticed that too adorefaith. I absolutely love the way the product smells, but I find that the shampoo makes my hair a bit too dry as well. So I usually just skip it and use the conditioner.

good to know i'm not the only one meeks.... i might find a new shampoo and try their conditioner- thx... :flower:

Hi! ..has anyone tried "Starlit waves"..wave enhancing spray.. ? i was wondering if it works if i dont actually have curly hair so i dont want it to 'enhance' but to 'create' waves... will it work??
thanks :)!

I use John Frieda's Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner and I quite like them. I think they're really helping to maintain my color. I have naturally red hair but I dyed it a shade or two darker for more intense hair color. When I got my hair dyed my hairdresser used a demi-permanent dye so it would gradually fade out instead of showing roots but I think the John Frieda is really helping it last, so I would reccomend it!

I use the brilliant brunette color gloss...not sure of the exact name but you leave it in for 3-4 minutes after conditioning and it makes your hair a little bit darker and shinier. so far i like it but it does make my hair feel kind of stiff sometimes.

Since I heard so many good things about this, I was eager to try it but unfurtunately after 16-17 dollars, it really wasn't for me, so I was pretty dissapointed. However I tried the Pantene brunette expressions shampoo and that worked beautifully for me

i have used it and continue using it sometimes
i like the smell and its a good line

I'm in LOVE with brilliant brunette! The fragrance is AMAZING!! And the shine.

The only thing I don't think BB is useful for is hair repair. It's mostly for shine and styling.

i've been meaning to try this and i haven't. alot of people mentioned the shampoo made their hair feel dry prior to conditioning... does anyone know if the shampoo is depositing hair dye? i'm wondering if that is what causes the dryness.

There´s no henna in it is there? A girl I know claimed there was but if there is the bottle should state that. But if there was that would explain why it dries out the hair.

This product will not deposit color on your hair. It is no different than regular shampoos (water, SLS, SLES) except that it is colored brown so you'll think that it is for "brown" hair. If you had your eyes closed when using the products you probably wouldn't be able to tell a difference between Brilliant Brunette shampoo and Sheer Blonde shampoo. Total marketing gimmick.

Incidentally, the dryness is probably coming from the fact that there are no good conditioning ingredients in the formula. The only include Polyquat-7 and Polyquat-10. These can be easily washed away.

i've used them and like them....you have to not use too much condiitioner though as it will weight hair down (i have fine hair) i use the color glaze too, and it works wonders, but you want to keep it away from your scalp if you have fine hair as it will weigh it down. i switch weekly, one week i'll use dove and then i'll switch to john frieda....then back again. works for me :) the hair gel and shine serum is nice too...

I use the line....but I only like the mosturising, the volumising and shine release makes my hair greasy.....

I tried the colour glaze but it made my hair colour change too much for my taste and it stained my hands!

ive been using the shampoo and conditioner, chest-espresso...for about two years now, and it works wonders. even on my color, ive noticed that it brings out some of the red, and dark brown colors that sometimes fade after i get it dyed. After, when my hair dries naturally i used the gloss..which smells absolutely amazing and keeps my hair naturally styled..i give it 5 stars!

i tried the brown color glaze and while it darkened my hair a little it put way too much red tones in my brown hair, not the look i was going for at all.

I used the shampoos and shine serum... I have fair medium lengh brown hair... it left my hair smelling great, but looking and feeling greasy, oily
