Mmm, yeah it is an aol msg board, but isn't the sheer number of cluless insensitive besserwisser trolls sometimes astounding?smartarse said:and what do you expect of aol msg board? most in there don't know squat about fashion, nor follow it, let alone, care for it.
Local model is remembered
Wesley Chapel, Florida — From Gucci to Prada, to the runways in Milan and Paris, 19-year-old Heather Bratton lived the life many young girls might have dreamed about. But on July 22nd, that dream ended when Bratton died trapped inside a burning car in New Jersey.
If you Google Heather Bratton's name, you'll find websites, with dozens of entries and comments from fans—and even those who never knew her—sending condolences to the family.
Sixteen-year-old Megan Horton lives in Bratton's neighborhood.
Megan Horton, 16-years-old: “We'd hang out in the cul-de-sac and we'd just be friends hanging out. It wasn't 'How was your modeling shoot?' or whatever. The first time I hung out with her, I didn't know she was a model. She was beautiful, but you couldn't tell by her attitude.”Horton says they called her 'Big Heather,' since Bratton's younger step-sister was also named Heather. The eldest daughter attended Wesley Chapel her sophomore and junior year, her senior year she was home-schooled.
Neighbors say it's amazing to know that someone they would see everyday was so accomplished at such a young age, with representation by a proffesional modelling agency.
