Heather Bratton - (1987-2006) - RIP

^^^ I know how you all feel. I was really saddened to see a full page version of a Mulberry ad featuring Heather on the back page of the NY Times Styles section from this past Sunday 19 Nov. '06.
My own photo of the ad - several versions:

And what shocked me even more was to find that the same ad was put up on the windscreens of some phonebooths here in Manhattan just this past Monday, 20 Nov. '06. Coming up out of the subway one cold morning this week on my way to work: you just can't imagine how sad it made me. And this ad is probably the last anyone will ever see of her - outside of these fashion threads.
My own photos: (1) 6th Ave. & W. 12th St., (2) 6th Ave. & W. 10th St.:

^You're welcome  It is truly one of the most beautiful tributes -- for one of the most beautiful people

^ I saw the full page a in the NYT also.
It made me sad, but I think Mulberry is doing the right thing by stull running the ad... honoring her memory :cry:

It is amazing that they are doing that. I still cannot get over her tragic death. Sometimes an image of her randomly pops into my mind with no trigger whatsoever, and I feel like crying for her... it's so tragic and sad. :(

And that tribute in V43 was very touching.

The video

Thanks Moofins.:flower: Heather was uniquely beatiful. There was a regality and aloofness about her that was really remarkable. An incredible loss that words cannot begin to describe. :(   God gave her to us. God took her away. That's all you can say.

Bump. Heather deserves the bump.

I know. She had something really special and classic and she shone so bright. I still can't believe that this happened.

I was wondering what happened to Heather and then I saw this thread. I feel embarassed that I didn't know until now... but the most important thing is that I know now. Her death was tragic and she was a great model with a lot of potential. What a senseless death of such a young girl (she was only 19 years old). R.I.P., we're all thinking of you.

^ I really miss Heather, too. -_-

what a lovely, lovely girl..

such a devastating loss to fashion- she really stood out as breathtaking to me.

What? she's too beautiful to die! :(

Please tell me your joking. This would still be a sad situation even if she wasn't a model or beautiful.

RIP to Ms. Bratton. I know I'm about a year late, but I would still like to show some respect to the girl. :(
