She loved them so much. I remember hearing her talk about them all the time. She made a calendar for me once that had nearly thirty birthdays on it. She wanted me to make sure that she had all of those days off—all the days were birthdays of her brothers and sisters in Florida, her grandma and grandpa, and her cousins in South Carolina.

I think we need to focus on the positive in Heather's life, because its so tragic otherwise, she really was TOOO young.

"One thing that Heather’s family told me recently was that one of her dreams in life was to be able to walk in a show, be on the cover of a magazine, and to be in a campaign. Heather accomplished those dreams, even though she modeled for only a year"

Thanks for sharing, Faith It's so sad not seeing her in NYC and Paris this season. At least in her short modeling career she made such a huge impact that it will forever mark her a place in the industry. She's sorely missed.

i agree completely...there is such a void! to think, she was in the fashion world for a relatively brief time, but she was so amazing she really made an impact, who knows what she could have achieved? we'll never know, but this beautiful soul has left her mark.

..i didnt know of her till the accident bbut seeing all her beautiful photos and the catwalk shows she did (and i live next to a mulberry in london so i see her face in the window everday) i miss her. What a beautiful girl

I traveled to New York City last Thursday and we arrived at the Newark, New Jersey, airport so we had to take a cab to NYC and we rode on the New Jersey turnpike and I thought of Heather and it brought tears to my eyes... I didn't know her, but she was one of my very favorite models and her passing still hurts me. <3
