Nothing like the sound of a pair of heels on a concrete or tile floor in a long hallway.

I adore the sound on the sidewalk or gravel. But I really hate going down stairs in heels. I always feel like a horse, it just makes so much noise. Especially in a stairway that echoes. It's the worst.

I don`t pay attention to the sound of someone`s heels, but I hate the sound of metal heel tips. Can`t stand it.

Hmm, I do not love the sound of ladies' heels clacking...whether it's mine or someone else's. I always have my cobbler add some rubber pads to my heel soles to deaden the sound a bit.

I don't know whether I like it, but if my shoes are loud it always makes me self-conscious. Or at least conscious of the noise I'm making! In school the hallways are hard like cement so since I know people can hear me walk, I do try to walk with a very even, confident rhythm. I don't want people to think I can't walk in my shoes.

my marc jacobs boots (which retailed for over $1K, btw) make the loudest noise i have ever heard...
especially outside on the sidewalk...

they look great and are comfortable...
but the noise really isn't nice......
thank god it's not so bad indoors!
