Heels for Men

I have never vistied this thread, and thought I would because I am bored. I have absolutly no problem with men who wear heels, (I don't know any though) :innocent: But imo there is no way I would wear heels. I have seen men wear "heels" but only around a half a inch heel on a dress/formal shoe. But would not dare wear heels as high as some in this thread, and most of all not what a women would wear.
Just my opinion thats all...

Absolutely NO. I don´t mean being narrow-minded or conservative. By the way does a man look good with never-ending legs?

^^yes there is.
as for the question whether this may or not be the next step...
well, men have been wearing heels forever... not really 12cm ysl tributes or the Zara's on the picture above, but SOME heels (from louis XIV red heel, to the rolling stone's booties by Slimane, or the "supposedly" 5cm hidden heel inside Sarcozy's shoes)
what is relevant about that particular picture i think is the fact that he is wearing women shoes...
and that being the case, i don't think we should discuss this as a men-in-heels trend... but more of a cross-dressing trend. i don't wanna sound chauvinistic or something, cause i am 100% for it, but i positively think clothes DO have a gender.

Agree with you, partly. There can be examples found in the history but nowadays shoes with high heels have been established as a feature we connect with women. The only high heels I can easily accept on mens feet are on cowboy boots. On this shoes I treat them as a functional element which was evolved from the past. The question for me is finally: High heel for men or not? Don´t ask me how, but there will be ways to accept a man wearing womens shoes under the condition we accept them wearing high heels. But what should be the high heel for in the end?

I'm not sure how many of u know that i'm a guy but I am! and i luv heels.

I'm sorry... I'm not crazed or understanding of pop culture terms (like "BFF," though I know what it means).

I sometimes imagine what kinds of shoes I'd wear if I were trying out some femme heels. A big aspect to me about knowing what kind of femme heels to wear would depend on what kinds of femme shoes I'd wear and be comfortable to wear. For example, would I sport round-toe wedge pumps with a cute bow at the toe... or do I try something like red peep-toe pumps with open sides and an ankle wrap design? Do I go with chunky platform oxford shoes... or wedge sneaker-like skimmers (like the American Eagle Dilemma sneaker) with colorful hearts adorning the skimmers? Part of hommes wearing these femme shoes is finding some kind of comfort factor while also finding some clothes to wear around them. The bottoms I wear are almost exclusively jeans, so I would already think casual if I were looking for a pair of femme shoes. I'd really have no idea what kind of feminine shoes I'd wear if I were to try this out.

Any of you other hommes have any sort of threshold as to what kind of feminine heels you wear? Does this take away from you wanting to wear the most stylish feminine shoes you want to wear? Or is it any real factor to you at all?

I don't like the term cross dressing. It's a loaded word. I see it more as breaking gender rules. One can wear heels and not look like a girl or as a transvestite.

is it wrong that I am lusting after a pair of those balenciaga moon rocket heels from the F/W runway shoe? they are stunning! haha.

I can't imagine any of my male friends wearing heels but I've seen some pictures of guys pulling it off quite well! Mostly skinny guys. Haha.
