my cousin who is 21 started swimming couple of times a week and in the last few months she's grown 3 inches, offcourse she's in a very strict protein and calories diet but one of her friends was taking this some pills she purchased and she says she grew 2 inches, I haven't seen her yet but if those thing do work I would like to know where I can get some haha, it just seems kind of scary buying some shady pills like that you know?

Not always. My Aunt got her period when she was 12, she was 5'1" at the time, she stopped growing at 16, at 5'11".

Wauw, then I might grow a bit more .. Haha. You never know.

I'm 5'7". I stopped growing when I was 11. Yet my mom still says, "You might grow into it someday."

I still kind of measure myself now and then.

Currently i am 179 and 17. When i was 10 i was 170 and everyone used to tell me i would be around 185 and that i would develop.... i only grew 9 cms in the past 7 years and my body is the same, nothing major has changed but i think i stopped growing because when i was 15 i was also 179 so... no change in two years

im 177cm (5,9.5-5,10) but my dad is 193 cm (6,4 or 6,5 acocring to him. im not sure if hes right) so aparently i still have a some growing to do i hope i stay the hieght i am now, i already get called mrs bohemuth (sp). but when im walking around i dont feel tall at all. i feel about 5,7 maybe...

but the other day some one asked me if i was 6 foot .

I'm 5'10 and I always feel SO much taller than everyone....I was very self conscious about it when i was younger and I used to slouch and only wear sneakers....but these days I stand up straight and wear heels...I find tall women to be so attractive!

Ummm neither swimming nor pills will make anyone grow. Go study some basic science and don't waste your money

Sport makes you grow, don't know exactly about swimming but children who practice sport tend to be taller than what they'd be supposed to.

No it won't make you grow. Exercise increases bone density, but not length. There are other explanations for why kids who play sports are tall.

For example, most kids who are into sport are also fed well by their parents (or feed themselves well) so they get the nutrients they need to grow tall.
Also, height helps with many sports - I was usually the best at volleyball, basketball, track and field, etc., because I was taller (and I had the skill too). So just because sport and height are correlated doesn't mean that doing the sports makes people tall.

Wow, that is very tall for 12 years old.
