I'm 172 cm or taller (lately my pants seem to be shorter ... and I'm sure that's not because I loved chocolate a lot lately. See me in denial!). That's 5'8" I guess?

I'm really tiny all over. . .tiny feet, tiny hands, tiny boobs. Everyone says I look much younger than I am, because I also have a round childish looking face and dimples. Blah.


It does come in handy when I want to get into a theme park cheap though. . .

^^ Yay, more short people! I'm 5'2". The funny thing is that it really hasn't been an issue for me until this past year. I mean, people always told me how short I am or how little I am, but it was never a big deal to me. And I'm so used to being shorter than others that I am never like "woh, they are taller than me." But then now, when clothes and boys are becoming more important (I'm 15), it has really become an issue with me. I just wish I was taller... My dad and brother are tall, but my sister and my mom are short (about my height). So I really don't know if I'll get much taller... I sure hope I will

After reading all these posts, I must say I'm flabbergasted. I cannot believe that some of you consider 5'7 or 5'8 or 5'9 to be short! Over here, the average for girls is around 5'2 and the average for guys is 5'6.

Well, it isnt very common to be tall in my family...my brother and dad are just around 5'9 and my mother is only 4'11. But I'm really happy with my height right now because I'm taller than my sister (im about 5'4 or so and she's only 5'3 and she's also 21 and I'm only 14)...I just hope that I'll grow more, the only downside is that my brother and dad make fun of me and tease be about how I'm going to end up being taller than them.

well when you see all the fashion world like models runways and all that you get to consider yourself short

^ I don't think it is bad or good for you. I doubt jumping will help you grow though because you are pushing down on the growth plates in your legs...

Well I trampoline and I'm 6'2", my brother does too and he's 6'1", even though my dads only 5'9" (5'10" before his back op) and my mums 5'8". I don't think trampolining will have had much to do with it though.

Hawaii. I'm not Hawaiian though. The locals over here are very short. Girls in 2 inch heels sometimes barely reach 5'1. But the haoles are around 5'9, 5'10.

Do you think at 15 years of age, there's still a chance to have a growth spurt?
