Whoa, I just had my checkup physical yesterday and I measured over 5'10" which is crazy, cause four-five months ago I was only 5'8" and 1/2... I'm not sure if this is a good thing...

5'8.5", but I like to think I'm 5'9", is it ok to round off upwards? I still think someone who's 5'10" will be six heads taller than me. I have a distorted view of myself

I know I'm not allowed to complain about how short I am, I just don't feel tall enough.

Oh, shush! 5'8" and a half is the same thing as 5'9", and besides, put side to side with a 5'10"-er in 1-inch flats and voluminous hair, you would look at least 2 inches taller... Be proud of your height!

My Mom is 5'6 and my Dad is 5'8 [[although he INSISTS to be 5'9]]

I hate my height... well, i like the height, but not it's composition. My torso is so long compared to my legs, it looks like i have really squat legs. Sigh.

Though I STILL wouldn't mind being just a little bit taller. A little bit taller and you can carry more weight, it just spreads out more on a taller body, and you still look slim. When I gain 5 pounds I go up two dress sizes!

You shouldn't feel like this about your height, just because some, like me, feel short for absolutely no reason doesn't mean you should too! Don't let yourself be influenced so easily, show some girl powerr! You're tallish.

I wish I was shorter for two cm or one inch. I'm 6'2. Being tall especially during the puberty period is pain in the ***. You're skinny and tall, looking very alien(ish). Hallelujah for that period of time being over but once again 190 cm would be my perfect height!

It's good that you feel good about your height, I wish I could lose my obsession with wanting to be taller. Your body sounds cute, you can make your torso and legs look more proportional with longer shirts and jeans/pants with lower rises.

Hehe yes I know that only a few are 6 feet. What I meant was that everyone WANTS to be 6', and now I have become like everyone else and want to be super tall. (hope it makes more sense now) =P

You shouldn't feel like this about your height

Well I do and I think about it everyday. I'm taller than 70% of the people my age, but I'm just really dumb and absurd and think about it everyday. Hopefully it'll pass.

Thats funny.. I'm as tall as my male cousin and he insists he's 5'9.. but we're almost exactly the same height 5'7 and a half. When I wear high heels.. I tower over him .. but I find myself slouching when I'm the tallest in the group.. weird.
