Why is everyone so bothered about being short? I don't find anything wrong with being short apart from not being able to find clothes that fit, sometimes. People seem to assume that if you're a skinny girl, you're tall like a model and that if you're petite like me, you're really fat. So the trousers are always either too long or too wide. They don't even have petite stores here in England; maybe just a 2 page spread of petite clothes in a 300 page catalogue and those petite trousers are too short for me... I guess I have long legs for a little person. Sadly, not long enough to fit "average" trousers, though.

lol, yeah! but it never bothered me...they used to make fun of my big eyes too...now everyone is saying "oh I wish I would be as tall as you" or "I wish I would have big eyes like yours"

I'm 5'11" and I get you on the boyfriend thing. Although my boyfriend is taller than me...and it even is enough of a difference to allow me to wear heels...but I met a couple of his uncles the other day when I was wearing heels and he said to him 'Could you not have found a taller girlfriend(!)'

I'm not that tall but I got over the "finding a taller man" thing pretty quick. My boyfriend is .5" taller than me. I wear heels around him, neither of us care. My sister is 6' and her last few boyfriends were shorter than her. I guess it's just something you get used to.

My favorite line when people make a comment about my height is, "I'm not tall, you're just short" ...But that only works on people that are shorter than me.

Every single time (no exception) when I go out at night...to bars, clubs etc. There will always be one man who comments on my height (I always have heels on) or asks me how tall I am. 'jeez you're a tallin' aren't you'...
