Billabonggirl: I feel the exact same way! 5'7 is such an annoying/awkward height. You're not that tall but not short either.

i don't know.. most girls stop growing when they are having their periods..

Doctors are usually wrong when they predict heights; especially when the heights are astronomically high like over 6' for a girl.

My cousin was "supposed" to be 6' but she's only about 5'9".

Some say you don't stop growing until 21, others say 18, others say around 14 or 15. It really just depends on you, no one can give you an answer to that question.


Have you tried an online height predictor? I've done it, and it was only off by about one inch. It works for some people and doesn't for others, but I'd say try it.

i stopped growing at the age of 17.
when i was around 13-14 i had a growth spurt. then i grew only about 5 cm ...
now i'm 5'10 and quite content with it

the height also depends on your genes. if you have short parents it's quite unlikely that you get that tall ...

My doctor predicted I would be 5'11"-6'0" by the time I reach 17 and right now I'm 5'9" and just turned 16 about two months ago. But I'm a guy so it's probably different.
