I read about it in a magazine and then googled it...Oprah is a fan!!

they are jeans that are supposed to have this technique that slims you down....
Has anyone tried it? it looks like any normal jeans to me...alot of jeans can have slimming effects-

what are your thoughts?

do you have any more information..?

not sure i know what you are referring to...

i'm assuming you don't mean skinny jeans as in the jeans that hug your legs...
but something else entirely..?

hmm.. interesting..

they claim to be miracle jeans but who can really tell unless they try them on?

everyone's body is different..

exactly.

I just went on the website, they're pricey too $178 ? and one only looks thin while wearing them.I'd have to wear them everyday.

chrissy haha sorry i didnt provide the link, i wasnt sure if i can post links!
im skeptical too...the before and after pictures are not that different..
if anyone buys one- let us know how they are

In the before/after pictures it looks like they just picked jeans with unflattering cuts/dyes/fits vs. their pair of "skinnyjeans" which coincidentally perfectly fit their model. (Who is, coincidentally also very skinny to begin with!) :ninja:

Those comparison pictures are hilarious... Notice that all the "other" brands are lighter washes, horizontal whiskers, way too short on a plus size model who pushes her butt in with a hideous stance. Whereas the skinnyjeans pictures are dark washes and very long inseams on a skinny model.

There really seems to be nothing new to these jeans. Elasterell-P/T-400 to avoid loss of elasticity, contoured waistband, placing outer and inner seams slightly towards the front, fading of thighs through distressing...nothing of this is new compared to what's already out there, but it's a nice marketing ploy.

Judging from the model pictures on the website I'm quite sure those of you that have boyish hips and rear, and those of you who are skinny but feel you have a flat rear, will not fit these styles at all. The bottom part of the back pockets are way to far apart, and the rear will probably look flatter. It does look like the back yoke has been positioned well compared to the medium rise and placement of back pocket, though, so I'm sure there are lots of women who will feel great in these jeans - but if you're looking for a miracle, it's not going to happen.

I need a new pair of jeans so I just ordered them to see how they are. will let you guys know!

I ordered these back in July. I waited six weeks and got nothing. I cancelled my order.

hmm not promising. Let us know how it goes GG. I agree with the poster above about the before/after pics being deceiving. Sometimes it's not even the same person!

I havent gotten mine yet but it's only been 4 days. I checked their site and it says in stock orders are shipped within 3 days, out of stock is shipped within 4 weeks which is I guess what happend to lazypadawan. Im not expecting a miracle but I'm curious to try them out, and I'll be happy if they'll at least be as good as siwy or tsubi or the like since they cost about the same.

There seems to be a lot of stores that stock them. Someone should go and try them on in the name of research!

They don't look like anything special. They're just tight dark wash jeans with a slightly higher waist, and the butt pockets are really up there to make the butt look more perky.

I got these a while ago and at first I was unsure but after loosing a few pounds now I like them. I was really surprised that they actually kind of do what they claim, the slimming panels they talk about do exist. Although I think they'll be slimming for some people and would make others just look fatter depending on your shape. The jeans get really super tight from just above the knee to about an inch or two below the inseam, but since they're so stretchy you can still get them on without a problem. If you run your hand over the front of your leg you can actually feel where this is. What this does is it pushes fat from the middle of your leg up and I think forward a little as well. This makes the gap between my legs a bigger in the middle and smaller at the top where the fat is being pushed to, giving me almost kind of a bow legged type look but overall I do look a little smaller. These are definitely my most flattering jeans with longer tops but I stick with siwy or earnest sewn with shorter tops which are also slimming but shape my legs differently. I imagine they'd work well on someone with a boyish body that wants more curves.

So far they've stretched out some after a few years like all jeans but have gotten back their original shape after washing but I am concerned about them loosing their shape since they're so stretchy. Theres a note on them that the dye may come off for the first 2-3 washes and it really does so be careful if anyone gets them. After 3 washes they still turn my legs blue and I had to touch up part of my wall that I stained just by leaning on it. Another thing I dont like is how high waisted they are, I'm 5'3" and they go up almost till my belly button. High waisted jeans never stay up well on me.

bottom line is they're good flattering jeans I doubt I'll be buying another pair. These are about $180 I think and I can get earnest sewns for under $100 on sale which I'm just as happy with.
