Helmut Lang Homme S/s 2005

Do I see Galliano's chicken bones or is that an optical illusion...

i'm telling you...the tribal thing is a trend going forward...

i just did a shoot and used all tribal accessories...maybe it's a bit early because i don't think the photographer got it...

but it's definitely in the air...

what an odd group of clothing from helmut lang though...
i like those flowery pants...but i feel like they were transported from elsewhere...

And I have to tell you, I absolutely hate this ethnic/tribal "trend".

What's bizarre is that it's popping up most prominently in CN and Helmut Lang, two labels you'd least likely associate with this sort of aesthetic. To most people they're the epitome of modern, urban, minimalist dressing.

Oh well, so far most of my favourite labels have been let-downs for me this season. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Schonberger's show.

Bones like Galliano and clugs like Dries van Noten :o

Nice shades though B)

Wasn't Rifat Ozbek the first to use chicken bones to decorate either side the closure of jackets , some years ago ?

It was part of a ' western ' inspired collection for women .

I've searched Firstview but cannot find it .

KIT :innocent:

i'll post the whole collection once i get them through

Rifat Ozbek stuck them onto Confederate jackets many moons ago...

And let's not forget Yves Saint Laurent's feather and bead dresses...
