Nature versus city with a casual cool undercurrent — that’s the premise at Helmut Lang. Michael and Nicole Colovos countered structured tailoring in blazers and zigzag-hem skirts with voluminous shapes, such as languid jumpsuits and gowns in snakeskin or stone prints. Especially notable were the paper-thin leathers; one bomber hung beautifully like a silk blouse. But the real standouts here were the limited edition shirts and dresses embellished with ghostly spider illustrations by U.K. artist Jessica Albarn.
