Lemaire introduces an elegant, retro vibe here without losing his touch with modernity, which makes these pieces, including the bags and shoes, true classics. Haven't seen such beautiful bags for a long time - beats SLP and Celine. It's amazing the variations of outerwear here, and worn with such ease and nonchalance. I've always loved his coats and jackets - he knows how to fit a voluminous cut on a slight, smaller frame, a feat not many big-name designers are capable of.

thought that Pierre Hardy does the shoes?
the shoes are pretty much standard issue Hermes?

Agree that bags are nice. the new clutch and doc bag are probably going to sell well.

My understanding is that Lemaire develops his own shoes and bags to go with his ready-to-wear. I know for sure he's developed his own bags and shoes before. And the shoes last fall were unmistakably Lemaire. I know Pierre Hardy has collaborated with Hermes but I never heard/read of him being involved with the women's collection.
