Hermès F/W 2023.24 Paris

Like? No..love!

This collection is everything I want in a runway show: super-chic clothing, tightly edited, very cohesive, beautiful color palette. And then you factor in the “extras”, like styling, accessories, hair, make-up, cast, and it all comes together beautifully here.

I love a good Mariano Fortuny mo-ment, and she did it well here.

This is the first time that I can recall both men’s & women’s Hermes looking good in the same season, so a round of applause to them.

The first total red looks (with the red background) made me think of Ferragamo instead of Hermès.

I don´t understand the "let´s add some Fortuny´s Delphos" at the end.

Expensive and well made clothes...but I cannot feel desire to buy here (maybe just to please an Hermès sales assistant, so he/she can sell you a Birkin)...

you are quite a braveheart as you might be the only one here to get so excited (in a good way) by her output.

ok, it's better than before - but still not great for a luxury power house like Hermés.

It does what it needs to do, which is fit the Hermés brief of looking impeccable and luxurious without being particularly showy. I like it, the colour palette is perfect and the attempt to add texture via the Fortuny-style pleats...I don't hate that!

Better than usual because this time she made real looking clothes but it’s still boring. She is still not a good fit for Hermes…
It’s possible to make serious looking clothes that looks fresh but can still be luxurious for a house like Hermes.

I always said that but if she made better looking clothes, Hermes wouldn’t have to have their customers play that « game » to be able to buy a Birkin or a Kelly. Just make desirable good looking clothes that can look good on a 25 or 65 years old girl!
