Hermès S/S 2014 : Diana Moldovan, Yumi Lambert & Sean O'Pry by Hans Silvester

I've always loved Hermes campaigns but I feel like this one looks cheap. I think Diana is a great fit for Hermes but this campaign just doesn't work for me.

Compared with previous seasons,I am disappointed cause this looks so cheap. The dark color is to blame.
I only like the pic that Yumi poses like a butterfly.

I love that picture of yumi with the wrapped scarf ^_^ beautiful just like a butterfly. her expression kinda reminds me of jacquelyn jablonski.

the models look great but the ad looks more like an amateur photoshoot. I think it's the colors

Considering the show was near absolute perfection, I find myself really disappointed here. Hermés always manages to let me down with their ad campaigns, but this is the lowest blow for sure.

Also Estee Rammant

Christophe Lemaire (Designer)
Hans Silvester (Photographer)
Beat Bolliger (Fashion Editor/Stylist)
Odile Gilbert (Hair Stylist)
Karim Rahman (Makeup Artist)

Why on earth are they suddenly switching to an "unknown" photographer and "B-list" models? They replaced the entire team.

No clue. Goldberg always worked wonderfully for the brand, I don't really consider Diana "B-list" especially with her sudden resurgence on the scene, but Yumi is quite random in my opinion and the weaker link.

I'm in love with this campaign. Especially Yumi Lambert's fairy image!

On top of the corniness you can barely see the clothes. This was such a beautiful collection, there were backstage pictures that would have made a better campaign.

If they were going for the whole Fern Tree Gully (I loved that quip)/Flower (Jungle?) Fairies thing, then they should have photographed the models as if they were unaware of being observed.

And I agree, they should have shown the clothes more. It's a completely missed opportunity to show off some fantastical clothes in a fantastical way.

Instead, it's got a slightly Terry Richardson Pirelli calendar vibe to it.

Nice concept, shame about the execution.

Flashbang, THANK YOU soooo much for those HQs, the whole campaign is amazing!
