I was wondering - how do you wear square scarves as belts? I hear people talking about how they can wear their Hermes scarves everywhere, like, around their neck, around their wrists, but are you able to wear these scarves around your waist?

The normal-sized scarves can be worn around the waist. Just tie it around. The pockets scarves are too small.

it was described in booklet - it was avaliable at www.hermes.com, they descibed many ways how to fold and wear scarves. I downloaded it, but I cannot find it now

Does anyone have it?

ooh! after some investigation, I found it! You go to the Hermes website, then click womens and click scarves, and then you go to "Playtime with your scarf" and there's two parts of the booklet

If you don't mind me asking.. huw much did you pay for it?

When wearing as a belt, I like folding the scarf on the diagonal. Becomes quite long, but I think it hangs better.

I saw a similar one in black and white, but I passed on it because they are SO EXPENSIVE !!!

I am into their ready-to-wear these days
So I have to cut back on the accesories.

Their 2006 ss collection is AMAZING !!

I tried one during last week so I changed my mind from the TPM leather Ribbon Garden Party to the PM canvas / leather Garden Party in beige / brown!!! My SA will try to find one for me because unfortunately this particular one is just out-of-stock at the moment.

That's what I think also. The SA told me that the Garden looks better in PM size than TPM 'cos it is supposed to be used for casual and out-door day. I can't wait for mine to arrive, I plan to hang my Hermes bear leather charm (the one I posted in the accessories thread) on it!!

I end up throwing them away, I never store the scarf in a closed box, because silk needs to breathe or it smells muffy. I hang my scarves carefully from a special hanger.

i do that too! but saw this blog and thought it was a bit excessive on keeping the boxes!

There are more photos of those boxes on this blog . You HAVE to see it to believe it, It's totally INSANE!!! The owner named purplegirl (or its her mom who owns them supposedly) kept all 100+ boxes! It was sooooo eyepopping! I could not even fathom buying that many scarves. Since I only have 3 twillies and 1 scarf, I did keep the boxes. however i leave them all open in a flat surface on my bureau since they all need to "breathe". Investment pieces!!
