i think that my feet have naturally quite high arches.

everyone always says to get a heel that 'follows the arch of your foot', but seriously, i have never come accross a pair!

and is is true that it is more painful for people with high arches to wear heels?

anyway, i am wondering what i can do??.... is there an insole that i put just under my arch? i dont want a big bulky thing that detracts from my heels

thanks ^_^

I have high arches as well and I have never found a pair that has "followed my arch" or touched it(not quite sure how to explain it, just that there's always a big gap becuase of my high arches)
but anyways, i've never heard that it is more painful, it usually isn't for me. I guess you could try those gel insoles(although I'm not sure if they help?)

Neither have I, but if you shift your foot backward a bit in a pair of heeled mules, you'll feel what they mean - the bend of the shoe will follow your foot better. Not much help - you can't really walk that way, but at least you'll know what you're missing!

Try these pumps by The Highest Heel:

They are kinda cheap (fake leather), but the arch support is the best I have in any of my heels! :flower:

My arches literally go above the sides of almost all my heels and even flats. I don't think it causes any more pain. It's all about the impact on the ball of your foot. If your foot is naturally high arched, then the balls of your feet should be accustomed to that, so I don't think it causes any more impact of the balls.
