and the second i saw her i thought she resembled ali. at least in eds, not on the runway

All of the hype on this girl is nauseating.

I'm not that impressed with her. For me, she's kind of boring looking and there isn't anything special other than the fact that she's American. I'll have to wait and see how her spring ads turn out.

i saw pic of a chanel campaign with hilary in us weekly! it was the dec. 26 issue. it was a small pic of her with a guy. the article was about karl lagerfield and how lindsay lohan is shooting with him.

Did a name change really cause ppl to forget about her old self? and her past work, she was doing pretty well before with the commercial work. She was in Ralph Lauren and A&F. I guess thats all it takes to get her to high fashion stardom.

You're right! In general I've noticed that the Brahmin All-American female look is rather masculine: athletic build, strong jaw, thick brows. The wide, strong jaw, in particular, almost seems like a requirement. Think Brooke Shields, Grace Kelly, Carolyn Murphy, and some of the Kennedy women. I bet the masculine element stems from athleticism being highly prized in that culture.
