Hilary Rhoda

No she is not. I understand that you love her very much, but to the common person they do not know who she is.

Gorgeous American model Hilary Rhoda did her part to support Haiti by attending a disaster relief fundraiser in NYC. Smart girl. Her outfit is totally unique but still in line with of-the-moment trends. The sequined Adam blazer is the main attraction, while ripped jeans, leopard peep-toe Loubs, and a macho watch serve as cool accompaniments.

Modelinia Haiti Relief Fundraiser Draws Stars Aplenty

Our friends over at model-centric site Modelinia teamed up with Susan Sarandon, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes, Hilary Rhoda, Veronica Webb and a bevy of other models, artists, designers and actors to host a Haiti relief fundraiser last night at SPiN New York, a social ping-pong club in Manhattan.

A portion of the night's proceeds went to Friends of the Orphans, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children in Latin America and the Caribbean and now committed to helping the relief effort in Haiti.

While the cause for the event was indeed sobering, the tone was still optimistic. "I'm hoping we can make as much money as we possibly can tonight," Sarandon said.

"Friends of the Orphans has the only standing pediatric free hospital in Haiti right now. They are seeing 700 patients a day and are taking between 250 and 300 X-rays a day. They are also treating adults. Even donating just $10 can really help," the actress added.

Victoria's Secret
model Selita Ebanks is doing her part to help out. "I've been texting so many times to make small donations," she told StyleList.

Amid the many ping-pong matches going on, revelers bid on fashion goodies such as a Zac Posen evening dress, a Tory Burch bag, two Marchesa dresses and a styling session with "Launch My Line's" Stefani Greenfield. The auction is still going on at Charity Folks, where you can bid on items until Jan. 27.

Other party-goers thoughts were on the seasons ahead -- both spring and fall.

Estée Lauder spokesmodel, Hilary Rhoda, fresh from a shopping spree on Bleecker street, where she bought the Adam Lippes blazer and Mulberry bag she was wearing, is counting the days until the warm weather. "I can't wait to start wearing all my light and gauzy pieces," the beauty told us.

"I am going down the Nile River a bit for inspiration," fashion designer Rachel Roy revealed to StyleList about the fall collection she'll be showing next month at New York Fashion Week.

Check out Modelinia's site to watch a replay of the live stream from the party. To make a donation to the charity, go to Modelinia's Facebook Cause Page.
