She has been on the cover of fashion magazines all over the world.
She is featured in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and has been named one of the highest-paid models by Forbes Magazine.
But just a few short years ago, Hilary Rhoda was a high school student from right down the road in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Hilary joined FOX 5 News Wednesday morning to talk about her work and about growing up in the area.

I had so much fun this morning at Fox 5 in DC! We talked career, Sports Illustrated, Estée Lauder, and sports! I also got a little surprise sighting in the Green Room.... DC's very own controversial former mayor, Marion Barry! Never know who you'll run into in Washington. Check out the two segments I did with Steve Chenevey and Allison Seymour on www.myfoxdc.com. Thanks guys, I had a great time with you this morning.

While on vacation in Jamaica, there were a bunch of landings where you could jump off of and into the water. For about 20 minutes prior to this photo being taken, I was standing at the edge of the cliff looking down wondering if I could do this at all. I'm not usually afraid of heights but this was scary! I'll admit it's not my best form landing in the water, but judging the expression on my face, I had a good time.
