it's been about twenty times i've checked Hildie's thread without commenting on her, but all the new shots posted on here somehow prompts me to do so. to be honest, her looks first turn me off, but in the longrun i got totally hooked on her intense gaze and extremely special presence i wouldn't be surprised if Chadwick Tyler got enamoured with her, i feel like she's the kind of model he would like to work with, and i could bet she would fit his aesthetic to perfection. definitely suscribing to this thread!

Chadwick Tyler sounds quite nice, I'd love to see him testing her! I'm not kidding with this question, but might it be that she took part at the Miss Norwegian contest, once? Love this shot

Erm no offense, but don't you think that's highly unlikely ? Shes beautiful, no doubt, but really not in the commercial-shiny-contestant-way

That's what i thought, too - but according to an article found on jbl.no she took part in 2007. She looks really young there, that Miss Norway thing was probably a peccadillo of youth I guess
the shot in [post=64]#64[/post] is stunning. Hildie's harsh and captivating features are what i love most about her, what makes her so outstanding from the crowd of "quirky, endearing, pretty" - and so on and on - models who are taking over the industry. i'm getting so sick of seeing good-looking girls ruling both major shows and A-Class publications, in my opinion, interesting models are the ones you have to focus on in order to get their appeal - exactly like Hildie she's everything but "easy to get", and that's accurately the kind of beauty runways are lacking in - hopefully she has a bright career ahead and we'll get to see what she has in store for us

I'm obsessed with the shot posted a page back, what a wonderful profile! And the tiny plait, it suits her perfectely and it also shows that she has more delicate side too!

Carla-A, I like your statement and I agree... The surprise, in a way or another, is really a key element when it comes to beauty... I think it's a crucial ingredient actually
Regarding Jason Wu appearance, I must tell that I've been so impressed by his f/w 10-11 show, styling and casting wise, how visually thrilling it was (one of the best f/w 10-11 show if you ask me...) that I would actually enjoy seing any of my favorite girl starting here... I have no idea of how good or bad it can be but I'm just in love with that designer/+his team aesthetics right now. Also, I still have in mind that some high level careers started after resort appearances... (Sigrid for exemple...)
Regarding that contest picture, which looks quite unfortunate indeed, it cannot go without being impressed by the transformation and how she does look right now... it really forces admiration actually
Of course the hair, the eyesbrushes, the styling...
but the most striking effect comes from the expression, how contrived she used to look, how relieved she looks now and how it makes the difference...
Facial expression/muscles can really change your girl and an appropriate styling will surely help to breath...

And i agree with you, but my respect for that transformation goes actually to her montheragent Sean from Specimen Model Management. Who'd ever have seen a future star (well, if she'll become on is still undecided, but she's on her way, definitely) in those old snaps? He's such a genius when it comes to scouting and placement stories.
