A couple years ago, I was very very into this look. Like with the skirts and sandals and beads all at once. Now I try to incorporate it but not look like a caricature.

I like that. It has the feel of boho/hippie but it's still chic.

So what are you wearing for fall/winter boho look?
My favourite would be long dress, socks (something we have seen on Prada ) and boots with binding..not high one ...but short boots.
And what coat are wearing in winter? Long or short ?

I absolutely love this style! I can't wait for summer (and it's not ever winter yet :P)

So if I wear designers clothes inspired by hippies I am bobo?

yes:lol:

Sometimes I dress like a hobo, but that is involuntary:lol:

There is the 'boho for trend' people and then there are the 'real' boho people.

99% of the people wearing boho stuff are "boho for trend", then you get a small group of artists, musicians, writers etc that are dress in a boho way but that is just the way they dress. Boho shouldn't really have much to do with hippies they are two completely different social groups - however the people that dress boho as trend don't really see a line between the two.

agreed lol. Has anyone seen a guy in this?

^ Thanks for the bump, I wish all style discussion threads like this were more active!

Which pieces did you like from Etro SS 11? I actually preferred their latest FW collection which was a bit more urban, but still had the boho vibe:

i just loved all the dresses, and the yellow :D (it takes so long putting picture here)

ps. thanks for the karma heatheranne :')

My all-time favorite bohemian feeling collection, though others were not fond of it at all, is still Gucci F/W 08.09. Swoon

I could post some images too :flower:

I personally am a big fan of Etro. I just adore their prints. Last Etro's collection FW11 was more urban then boho,It looked a little bit like Dries, but Dries is not often really boho.

This is over what I am losing my mind latelly:
Missoni resort 2012- modern boho look^_^ In my country there is not even one Missoni store, which is funny cause Missoni's founder was originaly from my country

And here are some Etro resort 2012 stuff that I like...I still can't find full collection though

Ive been wondering the same. I think Johnny Depp kind of invokes this for guys. The multiple necklaces, bracelets, loose linen tops, vests, hats.

Ive been trying to find other guys that embody this, but sadly most men dress so boring.
