Hippie/peasant

Are peasant skirts in or is it just Liv Tyler? There is a pic of her in the new US Weekly magazine (page 22) wearing the CUTEST long peasant skirt. Its light blue & dark blue with flowers that look like they were drawn on. Its adorable! I want one! Does any one know of any designers that are doing hippie style tops (shes been wearing cute hippie tops too) & skirts like that that it might be? Or do you know a place around Manhattan (Liv's stomping ground) that sells hippie clothes?

they are very popular here...

although the "hippie" look is usually from GAP of Old Navy. Da Nang makes some sort of hippie skirts... but I think your best bet would be to go to a trendy girl's boutique and ask a sales associate.

Zara had a lot of hippie skirts (if as hippie skirts you meant broomstick skirts). Some were pretty cute, but i didn't feel like buying them.

But that's actually not designer as you reguested..
