House of Cards

I have just started season two. It's sooo good!

Each character is corrupt and complex. I love it!

If Kevin Spacey doesn't win a damn award for this season I'll be so pissed!! I loved Season 1 of The Newsroom and think Jeff Daniel's walks water, but Will McAvoy's character is a hell of a lot easier to play than Frank Underwood in my opinion.

Binged and watched it in the 2 days after it came out. So, so, good. And has expertly, brilliantly, set up so many plot lines for next season.

Absolutely loved this season. The last few mintues of the finale were brilliant! All the actors are always on point and play their roles so well. Its very addicting, i cant wait to see what they do next season. Im sad to see Stamper's end

ITA! he did great in The Newsroom (don't care for season 1 to be honest, but season 2 is brilliant!), but he doesn't even compare to Kevin Spacey in my opinion...

Oh, yes! can't wait. I love this show, but sometimes I find it too rough or exaggerated... I'm watching Borgen now which is very similar but gentler, I love House of cards but sometimes it's so hard to follow in terms of politics for an European viewer.

I'm looking forward to this. Not long to wait. I wonder if it will follow the same path as the original British series?

I just finished watching season 2, in less than 3 days, i was absolutely hooked by it. I was a little sad by Stamper's end (i have read that he is presumably dead, but it's still unsure, i really liked his character), but Robin Wright stole the whole season, she was absolutely perfect!! Way better than in season 1, so now i can't really wait for season 3 to be released! :woot::woot:

It's back! I can't wait for my partner to get back from overseas so we can start watching season three! Hopefully we won't binge watch it over the course of a couple of days and be left waiting another year for new episodes

Already on episode 8 of the new season.

Have to say it's a really slow-burner compared to the second series - no real shocks or things you didn't expect. Kind of disappointing on that score.

However, it seems to be building towards some horrible ending for Frank Underwood and maybe Claire too.

Kind of wish you couldn't watch them all at once, it's just too addictive. It's also the final season. So I think the end of this season will be some real drama.

Having said all that, I find it hard to believe that Netflix really will make this the last one. It's just too successful at this point.
