If accessories have a similar element - like a braided metallic bracelet, a knotted metal ring, a chain/woven belt, etc - is wearing more than one at a time "too much" or does it help pull a plain outfit together?

What about accessories of the same color? When does it overwhelm a look for you?

it.s realy hard one to answer personely i.m no matchy matchy type but i believe it al depens on the totaly picture.......

I think if you wear it with the right attitude, you can make almost anything work.

I'd be more in the "pulls an outfit together" camp - especially when it comes items that share a common element.

I'm not so sure about matching colours. If you're doing that, it has to be for a formal occasion. Otherwise, it looks....dated. I dunno. I much prefer complimentary colours or a standout bag/shoes but not both...

all i can say is put ALL the "too much" into ONE and only item !
(time to buy vintage Lacroix !!!)

NEVER over-acc. ! you don't live in a magazine !

yes, i think it's rather hard to answer, u got to take a look at the whole package.

but around 3-4 things may be too much?

MK and A are some of my favorite "accessorizers." This looks sort of put together, sort of overwhelming, but I love the idea of having a lot of necklaces on at once.

i think if you want too look very elegant and classy you better come up with one gorgeous piece! the "too much" look can look very cheap, especially if you wear cheap things like plastic etc. But if you choose to wear a lot of Ac. you should keep your outfit simple.

There is no rule, but it's definitely possible to go overboard. I usually stick with around 2 accessories, or no more than 3 if they are subtle pieces. If I wear a statement piece, I usually just keep it to that one piece (unless you're wearing a wedding band or something to the like).

There is a saying that once you are done accessorizing, take off the last thing you put on.
