I love him, as an actor he´s fantastic (Blackadder and Peter´s Friends are just the best things ever) and as a person he seems very intelligent and charming. I had such a crush on him when I was younger which was considered a bit weird when all the other girls had crushes on various Backstreet Boys..
Hugh and Steven Fry make such a perfect team, whenever they work together it turns out brilliant

True I can't actually take House's crankiness seriously, no matter how good he is at being mean. Every time I see Hugh, I begin quoting lines by George (Blackadder) in my head, and immediately want to hug him

My boyfriend says Hugh is "goofy" but I think that this "certain goofiness" is absolutely charming.
We have a complete DVD set of "Jeeves and Wooster" and after knowing it almost by heart it would be difficult for me to imagine this actor as a mean character!
However I think it is great he has managed to get out of "the goofy character's drawer" and this new unshaven look suits him a lot!
