The Versace safety-pin dress that first brought Elizabeth Hurley fame when she wore it to the 1994 premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral is now on sale at Harrods. The dress is part of the Harrods Timeless Luxury promotion focusing on the little black dress. The dress costs s £10,690 and will be delivered two months from the date of order. Quite a deal when you consider that another famous little black dress, the one worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys, went for over $800,000.

I think its a shame she's selling it. She should wear it one last time before giving it away.

Anyone who buys that dress is probably some sad celebrity worshipper because that dress is tacky and tasteless.

It's like the dress JLO wore during for the Grammy's (sp?). It's a celebrity and will forever live in pop culture.

She had an amazing body back then, too bad she's lost some weight.
I actually liked that dress, it really looked good on her.

Calling the dress tasteless is a joke. That dress is an amazing piece of art, just because you wouldnt wear it doesnt mean it's tacky.

I'd love to have this as a piece of art in my home as I adore Gianni! That dress is hot! ^_^

that dress was definitely an inspiration to many...including me. I remember attempting to make a top held together with safety pins!!!

Well I don't care how many people call it tasteless, I still think it was an amazing dress that deserved every bit of the hype.
