i-D Spring 2012

^wow she looks amazing there:heart:, cant wait to see the rest of her edit. Her cover is my favorite its stunning but also really like Shaloms too:flower:

i love the first covers with the royal theme, they all look great. The others not so much.
i think this is the only cover this month that Daphne doesn't look like a clown, but it's still unappealing to me. Georgia is okay I guess.

Too many covers for one issue.. It's distracting and I don't see the point of it. Each one is not bad and I like several covers among those, but even good covers are being put in the shade by the others.

ph. Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi
models: Hahn-Bin, Carolyn Murphy, Isabeli Fontana, Guinevere van Seenus

(Probably not the whole editorial - IMG only posted the ones Carolyn was in.)

Daphne's cover is outrageous. It looks like she was blinded by the sun and therefore had to blink. I don't get how she's on so many covers right now if they're not even good.

Exactly. The Daniele+Iango covers would have been amazing by themselves but for reasons unknown to me, they decided to just add a few more covers that have nothing to do with the others. At this point i-D is just being self-indulgent and unless I find the Carolyn or Guinevere cover, I'll definitely pass on this issue.

I looked at it enlarged, and really looks nothing like her. Her lips look too big etc. There is something very unfamiliar.
Shalom and Amber used to be one of my favourite teams back in the 1990's, I am very familiar with her work. Even the way she looks now at Stella's show really hasn't changed and yet I see none of her in this ID cover.
Therefore defo not a good cover IMO.
But thank you for pointing me in right direction.

These covers are amazing, reminds me of their beautiful covers in the '90s. I hope that Shalom has an editorial!

Ended up with Daphne Groeneveld's cover. Amongst Sharlom and Georgia, Daphne's stood out on the shelves. I overheard someone enquiring about sourcing all the covers earlier today, at the store. I was about to wish them good luck, but was sidetracked with a bundle of monstrous Italian Vogue's being stocked.

So far seems like a really good issue, love Carolyn and Isabelis editorial, that shot of Carolyn in the McQueen gown is phenomenal:heart:Cant wait to see the full thing, want to see Guins shots:Dand especially if Shalom has an edit.

Guinevere! :buzz: My eyes went straight to her cover. It's amazing. The same thing goes to Shalom's, Carolyn's and Sui He's. But Guinevere's cover stands out the most to me. ^_^
