Pharrell looks like a photo that I took when I was like 16. I picked a flower, and thought I was being creative with it lol. Teyana looks good! Overall the covers are decent, nothing too amazing.

I didn’t know anything about this. It makes me so furious because Kelis has always seemed like such a sweet person from what I could tell!! I am happy that she is doing well though, she totally deserves it!!

I think like more people need to read this, especially if they are going into the entertainment industry at a younger age like she did.

^^^ No wonder your 16yo-self can relate since an almost-50yo man has been so ridiculously retouched to look even younger than he probably looked when he was 16yo.

The first shot posted of Teyana is awesome and should have been the standout covershot: 90s vulgarity and defiance reminiscent of Madonna by Mondino… Too bad the styling of the rest looks very 2009-dated.

(BTW, she’s good: Very much a return to the eternal silky and soulful chill of New Jack Swing of the mid-90s…. The spirit of old souls D’Angelo. SWV, TLC, Mary J. Blige, Dawn Penn, Lauryn Hill is strong with her.)

I'm here for Teyona. She always photographs beautifully.
I can't stand Pharrell, and that was way before Kelis exposed his thieving *ss.
He tries so hard, and is still so mediocre.

Not a patch on the Spring 2020 covers but I kinda like Pharrell by Mert & Marcus... but my fave out the bunch is Teyana Taylor. Sorrenti's done wonders, love the styling and posing from Teyana here - who just oozes confidence. The Juergen Teller cover, however, is an absolute embarrassment.

Major kudos given over 100% of the funds raised from the sale of this issue going to Black Lives Matter!

Why bother with all these covers when there’s Teyana Taylor?

She sells those clothes better than our current selection of “super”’models and looks better than most of them too. She’s gorgeous and she seems to actually interact with the clothes instead of just standing there, which is nice.

Teyana Taylor's cover is spectacular. I also like her photoshoot a lot. Not a huge fan of the other covers though.

I stan for Teyana Taylor too! Her latest album is on repeat. I've always felt like she's not getting the success she deserves, but she got it right with this album. Girl is brimming with talent and it shows here. Impressive presence, she knows how to pose, she just owns the scene.
