Ugh, Imaan looks stunning here. Loving the bodycon dress on her.

Kim Kardashian's cover is all i-D needed this time around, the others (including Imaan Hammam's) all fall short in comparison. I've come to really enjoy Kim K on the magazine cover circuit lately, first WSJ and now this - Sorrenti, McKimm and Kardashian have proved to be a perfect match.

That's the strongest look for me.

She looks unexpectedly gorgeous in that shot. She’s always willing to try new looks in fashion rags that’s always elevated her usual serene-wrap signature looks people have expected of her. I may never have watched a single episode of her show— nor cared to buy anything she’s hustling, but this woman has always taken chances and impressed with her looks in the pages of a magazine. That I admire and puts her in the league of someone like Madonna in her prime and always trying new personas and telling new stories in fashion magazines. No one takes a chance anymore to try new looks nowadays— except Kim.

Imaan and Tyshawn look great as well. Nice to see gorgeous adults looking like adults on the cover of i-D these days.

Got my issue today and is an “extra issue” sponsored by Tiffany. It has only 2 pages of advertising and is (surprise!) by Tiffany. It has 320 pages, the main articles are by Mario Sorrenti and has 4 fashion editorials, 1 “advertorial”, an artists portfolio and like 30 pages of a project by Helmut Lang that is basically a blank page fading to black everytime you turn the page (a waste of paper if you ask me).

The Sorrenti’s eds are enough to purchase the issue but only if you get the Kim K cover that is GORGEOUS in print.
