What would your philosophy be like?

- A girl (an ignorant girl) I know said her models would have boobs and ***es

If I were a designer..
- I would never shine purple spotlights on my runway
- I would never site Gianni Versace as my inspiration
- I would stay away from generic shades of colour
- I would have a black and white logo

ah.. if i wasnt a designer and i was just someone replying here...

-i would try to work on fresh, wearable, no gimmick shapes
-i wouldnt care too much about how models on my catwalk/installations look
-i would try to stay original and take pride to my work
-i would have a concept and respect for the female body

I can't believe you just said that.

haha 'raisin'

If i was a designer i would:
* buy peoples love :crush:
* blow at least $25,000 a year on a VIP party so the VIP's feel like VIP's :king:
* would sue anyone who copied my designs
* would design couture gowns in very few numbers with the most precious exotic material :stuart:
* would set up a camera in the photographers office with a microphone :shifty: i will be able to black mail anyone who does special "favours" to get jobs
*would have an anger mangement course for all my models :muscles: so that instead of chucking a gia and marinating someones food in vomit inhancer they can bash up who they don't like- the girls with too many bruises wont be on the runways - instead they will be campaign girls as photo shop :magic: makes everything bad disappear

get vivienne westwood to devorce andreas and then marry me so i can design her menswear MWHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!

If I was a designer, I'd like to work on:

Classic, subtle and timeless, but still focused and sharp shapes
Very pure and minimalistic designs without clutter and unnescessary details
Details that are needed should be discreet but strong, in balance and harmony
High quality materials (of course)

My ideal is somewhere between Junya and Saville Row, or something...

...not put celebrities who don't know how to dress themselves in the front row of my show

If I were a designer:

-Creativity,Craftsmanship,Integrity & Emotion would be at the fore of everything I do.
-Appreciate individuality rather than a specific, idealistic personality
-Inject humour and a certain playfulness without seeming gimmicky
-Embellishments are my passion and handworking will be a primary aesthetic
-Opt for static/installation presentations rather than runway...so boring and uninspiring those can be
-Traditional tailoring and dressmaking skills would be the fundamental foundation of my work...then on,will experiment with cutting and detailing

If I were a designer:

- "Dare to be..." would be my phillosophy.

If I were a designer:

- I will never hire "stick-thin" sickly models. I love the way Betsey Johnson's models look.
- I will be thankful that anyone (even Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson) would wear my clothes.
- Try to get young girls to feel that covering up can be sexy. I've seen my fair share of low riders with back fat and belly fat. And espacilly in college, short shorts with cellulite and stretch marks.:yuk:
- Ban "Mom Jeans"
- Ban those STA-OPID crocdile clogs.( Only the ones used for fashion purposes, of course).

*I'd start small .. zero advertising ... strict word-to-mouth
*Would have only one super-hidden boutique/atelier
*I may be the head designer, but I'd have my trusted "muses" the women who wear my clothes, from whom I'd feed constantly
*Natural materials, cutting edge techniques ...
*Very strong base on cut/pattern
*Almost no prints ... maybe on accesories
*All clothes would be custom made for my adored customers ... doesnt matter how beautiful you design if its ill fitting
*Without a doubt, I'd have fashion school interns all the time for ideas and teaching (for both)
