Ikea

Everytime I visit Ikea, there is always something I want. It's inexpensive but the designs are great.

I love Ikea! My favorite chair is from Ikea, it's called the Poang chair. It doesn't look comfortable, but it really is comfortable.

Edit to Add: You can get nice and cheap duvet covers and window coverings. It's a great place to shop if you are on a tight budget.

my bed is from ikea and I loooooove my bed :crush:

I actually ordered it via the catalog and had it delivered to me. when they delivered it they left some things that belonged to someone else's order (a couple trash cans, some kitchen stuff). when I called to let them know they just let me keep the extras. yay to free ikea stuff.

I was looking at beds there and I really liked the way they looked. I just didn't know if it was a good investment. I guess they also have different sizing for sheets. Or is that wrong?

Is this a hospital bed??

could be for someone who is resting at home I guess. Or a kid. I had rails at the side of my bed when I was like 4 to keep me from rolling off

It's an odd choice though

I guess it's because everything is sold in bundles, most of the items are self-made which lowers the production cost, and they don't hire many workers :flower:

mine is just a regular queen frame, so it fits a normal queen mattress and sheets. maybe the mattresses they sell are the ones that are different sized?

For some reason they're only getting around to putting Ikeas in Ireland. I'll probably wait about 3 years to visit, for fear of being trampled...

Ikea is great.

I think 90% of my apt is from ikea..
The only thing I hate is that regardless of those fun arrows on the floor that tell you where to go, I somehow always get lost!! :D

The only thing I worry about is 1. putting the furniture together.. and most importantly, 2. how the hell do i take it apart when I go to move?... ah, screw it.. just move it in once piece. ;)

That's what I did. It was hard enought to put together the first time around...nevermind round two now that i have thrown out the instructions!

I adore Ikea!! I was so upset to find out that when I moved to FL there is no Ikea here...but I recently found out that a new one is being built 5 miles from my house! I will be there with bells on!

My tv stand, coffee table, bed & armoire in my spare bedroom are all from Ikea.

Cosmo, I agree those directions are just terrible. I moved all of my stuff in one peice too.

^ It was the only way to go. I just told the moving men to be ultra careful. :)

that's such a clever idea! :woot:

i might have to steal that idea from you because I'm really not liking my current jewelry storage setup and have been trying to think of something that will look cool without taking up too much space on my dresser :shifty:

I actually do the same thing but with a mini dress form (that did not come from ikea though...). I found a pretty one at TJ Max or something like that.
