I'm Making A Bag....

I'm not sure how think to make my strap, I want a rolled leatherette strap, almost like the Louis Vuitton straps, but not exactly....Can someone tell me, what do you think looks better, thick or thin straps? (on a medium size bag)????

It will be the shape of a Murakami Louis Vuitton, bigger size, but covered in chiffon, I'm very unsure to put an elegant strap or a thick leather strap like the Louis Vuitton bags.

Those rolled handle louis vuitton type things are hard to do without a cylinder sewing machine.. home machines won't do it... and if they do, you'll have excess leather and they wontlook neat.

But you have to get plastic tubing.. go to a hardware store or home depot or something, they should have it... cover them in leather.

But if you dont have the correct machine to do it, I'd reccomment thin flat straps..

and ifyou do, i'll go into more detail if you PM me.

like those coach tiny hobo bags would be a lot cuter and feminine if they used a skinnier strap
