Imogen Heap / Frou Frou

^ I think she would enjoy being on mainstreem radio, but her sound is so different (refreshingly!) and she's been indie for so long that it's tough to break out onto the scene when you're different. However, with the Hotel Cafe Tour, David Letterman, Carson Daly, the O.C., and Coachella under her belt, I'm sure breakout of the indie sceen very soon. Plus she's just been asked to do a score for a docutmentary about Flamago's (sorta March of the Penngiunes style).

I just got tickets to see her at Park West (in Chicago) in May This will be the third time in less than a year... I'm very excited!!!

Just go to ticketmaster.com and search under Imogen Heap. It's certainly worth the $15 and she always sings a few Frou Frou tunes (so your boyfriend will be excited!)... Plus, I've seen her and Park West and it was the BEST... Schuba's was a pretty bad venue.

It's a big open space (while still being an intimate venue) with standing room up front and booth seating on balcony's... they also serve drinks there. Here's the layout:

It's one of my favorite venue's... basically b/c I love to sit and have a drink, all while still feeling close to the stage. You should totally go regardless of the Thursday night part... It's at 7:30, so it shouldn't run too late.

OMG. I was like, who is this chick and I looked her up on Itunes and I know sooo many of her songs, I love them sooo. When I get home Im gonna buy her CD...

She's always on the Coach CDs that why I know so many of her songs, I never came around to downloading them. I hoped she sang this song Im absolutely obsessed with...I cant find the name of it though...

I love her as well...so unique, it's refreshing. Saw her on Letterman I think it might've been, and her whole setup is soo cool, how she uses a computer and all, I'm a virgin to electronica, so it's really interesting to hear/watch. Unique sound, good lyrics, danceable, who could ask for more!!?
