I know, of course. I respect photographers if they have their own trademark, but I&V recycles everything and it just gets boring.

they have a new editorial with Daria Werbowy in the Sept. 2007 issue of Paris Vogue.

Its set in a Utah-like scene.

^ ok i will explain a bit more my opinion.

When I first see their photo I think "so cool and vibrant" but in 10 seconds i'm bored. Unlike meisel's insanely brilliant compositions which hold my attention for minutes, or lindbergh's beautiful lighting and characterful models - i find little interesting in I&V's works.

The photos look like stills from music videos, maybe they should move into that area.

^^^ Thats so of true. I want to disagree because I Inez & Vinoodh so much but I cant!

Meisels work just leaves you shocked and amazed The Rehab edit just astonished me!

I&V are brilliant but most of the time they are repetitive

Travis Fimmel for Calvin Klein. This series of ads were quite a departure from the ads that Calvin Klein had traditionally chosen. [my scans and two scans from Chadwick Model Agency, Australia]

I don't know why, but I quite like the Vogue Paris Aug 2003 ed. Maybe its the vibrant colors.
