Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin - Photographers

maybe a bit, but with a massive twist. I mean the editorial by I&V is breath-taking, while I would call the Feurer just interesting...

I thought these campaigns were boring when I found it one the mag. but they look stunning when all are put together

They will have a big retrospective of their work from the past 25 years in the FOAM Amsterdam next year :buzz: I read it in W. :buzz:

Are they the photographers of the Cesare Paciotti 06FW campaign, the one with Elise Crombez and Axel Hermann?

Thanks for the HQ version of the Eau Mega ad. :woot:

What's something that differentiates I&V's work from other fashion photographers? i'm not a fan or anything and i'm not trying to start a debate, it's just that i can't really pick out an Inez & Vinoodh editorial with just looking at it. I know (think?) they are popular for making the girls they shoot do unusual and/or strange poses, right? What is something stylistic about I&V photography that's different from other photographers?

^static weird poses (even when it takes so hard moving to take such pics) and good knows of classic photo-technics (b/w portraits etc)- they just making them looks avant-garde and classic at the time. too pretentious novadays, imo, cause they started just like a joke on fashion-photography (as magazines editors are taking them lately)- you can see it clearly in their early contribution in THE FACE magazine. i scanned some of them
