this latest editorial seems a little cramped, or maybe it's just the lighting kind of destroys raquel's face....

I really like this editorial. This editorial is all about movement and color and strong contrasts. Look how well that movement is portrayed, extending even beyond the borders of the picture! I think it's a brilliant way to show movement. Maybe that is what bothers you about it and makes you think it looks "cramped".

But, yes, the lighting is harsh. Since this is not a beauty editorial, I don't think the intention was to make the models' faces look particularily attractive. The lighting adds drama to the action ... it looks exciting and dangerous to me ... and I would say that was their intent.
